044. Navigating Opportunities: The Work

The work of a maker can be extremely solitary at times, but that doesn’t mean those voices we contend with stop. Even when the voices of other people are quiet, there is a constant discussion in our heads of whether or not the work we are creating is good or should even be made. Some of us struggle with the anxiety this brings, and others of us just ignore it and press on. But, perhaps both of these options are a bit off base.

As we continue our conversation about navigating opportunities, Ryan and Garreth are back in the studio talking about how we can move away from a mindset that is only concerned with making and moving forward. Instead, they present us with categories that help us step back and think deeply about what the work we make is doing.
