Inspiration can carry some weird juju with it. As a culture, we seek to be inspired: we hang inspirational sayings in our homes, we read inspirational books, but we still get writers’ block, designers’ funk, artistic logjams or whatever we want to call it. This can happen for a number of reasons, but sometimes, it’s just good to talk about what inspired you to make in the first place, what keeps you interested in your work, and what places outside of the field you look to in order to keep being a productive maker.
In this episode, Ryan and Garreth dip back into the well of inspiration to talk about where good ideas can come from and how we might work toward the hard task of collecting inspiration to keep the tank from running dry.
Also, a guy name Ken shows up and really weirds Garreth out.
